True To Our Trust

As our motto suggests, The St. George’s Society of Baltimore has been dedicated to helping others in need. From assisting widows and children of visiting British citizens and expatriates to providing burials for servicemen and sailors. For over 150 years, the Society has remained True To Its Trust. Today, that commitment lives on through the Society’s 501 (c)(3) foundation that supports two worthy military charities, The Invictus Games and Help for Heroes. An international adaptive multi sport event, the Invictus Games is for injured and wounded armed service personnel to take part in sports including wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball, and indoor rowing. Help For Heroes is a British charity that helps provide better facilities for British service men and women who have been wounded or injured in the line of duty.

The main source of the St.George’s Society of Baltimore Foundation’s gifts are derived from funds raised from donations and corporate sponsorships from the Society’s annual polo event, The St. George’s Polo Cup.
